My name is Andre le Roux, and I am here to reassure you that there is a solution to your struggles. As a registered social worker and addiction therapist with over 30 years of experience in addiction and mental health, working across both clinical settings and private practice, I understand deeply the challenges you are facing. You do not have to suffer in silence.
Throughout my career, I have specialised in addressing a range of issues, including addiction to substances, sex and love, and gambling, as well as co-dependency and relationship challenges. My approach offers a safe space to explore these issues together, providing you with the support you need to overcome them.
After earning my BA, BA Honours in Psychology, and BA in Social Work, I have committed myself to understanding these challenges and developing effective treatment methods. I also hold a UNISA postgraduate certificate in Marriage Counselling, a one-year course that has deepened my understanding of relational dynamics. This includes working with couples experiencing betrayal and infidelity, blended family challenges, and mental health challenges affecting relationships.
I am particularly skilled at working with family systems and offering therapy that addresses both dementia and co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses. This includes helping individuals and families better understand addiction and the underlying challenges involved.
Based in the Gauteng but preferring online sessions, I am accessible to clients both locally and internationally. My therapy sessions are tailored to individual needs, focusing on interventions, trauma debriefing, and long-term therapy to ensure a holistic recovery process.
